This Ryze network is dedicated to all things related to Middletown, CA – a town often referred to as “Small Town USA.” Middletown is the unincorporated gateway to Lake County from the San Francisco Bay Area.
If you live or work in or near Middletown, CA you must know the area has tremendous potential. In many ways, Middletown is like Orlando, Florida before Walt Disney arrived.

- In March of 2006, a campaign was launched to bring the Fox News Channel to Middletown for the town's annual western parade and festival, “Middletown Days” on Father’s Day Weekend. If successful, this would be the first time in the 45-year history of the event that a national media concern paid any attention.
- Well, the campaign was successful. Fox News showed up in the person of International news correspondent, Adam Housley. In fact, Housley addressed the parade crowd from the reviewing stand on behalf of the network. This success was due in part to CDMM, a local marketing company who inspired and facilitated a letter-writing campaign to the Fox News Channel by 30 high school students. The letter-writing campaign was followed up with the sending of a press kit on Lake County prepared by the Lake County Marketing Association to Roger Ailes, chairman of the Fox News Channel.

- However, it was also the result of passionate Ryzers around the world helping as best they could to create an international buzz for “Small Town USA”– including Des Walsh in Australia, John Stephen Veitch in New Zealand, Paul Finklestein in Florida and Scott Allen in Texas, among many others.
- During 2006, Middletown residents formed a town hall called MATH (Middletown Area Town Hall) to better address issues concerning the southern region of Lake County.
Subsequent to forming the town hall, application for the formation of a MAC (Municipal Advisory Council) was made in compliance with the Brown Act. It is the hope of many that through this network of international communication, guidance and encouragement will not only be shared, but accomplish amazing things. Make no mistake, this is business networking on a grand scale for a small town. It is the business networking of passionate people the world over.
- All those who desire to see this small Northern California town grow and prosper, please contribute your insight. I invite the following organizations to make full use of this network: Middletown Area Business Association, Middletown Lions Club, Middletown Luncheon Club, Middletown Rotary Club, and MATH.
